Ready
Director - Anees Bazmee (Previous Film: Thank You)
In a nutshell....
Prem, an heir of a huge perfume company, Fragrance, is the only son in the family of 3 brothers. Before he gets married, Prem wants to celebrate life and enjoy every moment of it. His father is strictly against this idea but his uncles support him wholeheartedly. Sanjana is also an heir to a huge property which her uncles want to take away. Prem, who falls for Sanjana, wants to save her from her uncles. This leads to a big fun ride as situations get trickier and funnier.
The one and only one thing crucial about this film is Salman Khan. We all know he can do anything, anyway and still make things look awesome. Nobody cares about the story when this man is around. Salman is on a roll after two smash hits, and this one seems to belong to that category. Plus, the rest of the cast is excellent at comedy. Annes Bazmee has a great track record of writing and directing hilarious films, barring the last two. Dhinka Chika and Character Dheela have become super duper hits and that's what one can expect this movie to be. After a lull during the World Cup and IPL seasons, this film will come as a refreshing fare. It will surely have a marvellous opening thanks to Salman's die hard fans.

In a nutshell....
Kabeer is a photographer who wants to be different. In this pursuit of difference, he accidentally unleashes a being that claims many lives. It wants Kabeer's love, Jennifer, and for that, it can cross any limits. The police set out to find the culprits of the murders, as Kabeer and Jennifer are on the run, trying to protect themselves, and prove their innocence when all evidence points a finger at them.
Were the makers even serious while thinking of making this film? Who on this planet would prefer to watch a film based on a story that has been told in different and better ways before. With a cast whose last film could not be found even after tracing the best of records, and directors whose vision is worse than that of a 5 year old, this film looks nothing less than a shame. Shot very amateurishly, enacted as thought under the influence of valium, this certainly is going to be one of the worst films of this year. And with a huge release like Ready, I wonder if this film will survive in the theatres even in the first week.

In a nutshell....
Hanna is a unique teenage girl who has the strength, stamina, and the smarts of a soldier, thanks to her ex-CIA father, Erik's training, who wants her to become a perfect assassin. Hanna sets on a mission and journeys across Europe while terminating agents dispatched after her by a ruthless intelligence operative, Marissa, who has her own secrets. As she nears her last target, Hanna faces startling revelations about her existence, and unexpected questions are raised about her humanity.
Spectacular was the only word that came to mind when I watched the trailer. It's shot very well, has got a decent story, and the setting is unusual. Saoirse is a great talent, and when pitted against an actress like Cate Blanchett, it'll be fascinating to see how the young girl has taken up the challenge. It will also be interesting to learn how the ever successful, Joe Wright, copes with the genres he has never worked upon. But talent always remains, which is why I think Hanna will be a breathtaking experience, and will do wonders on the box office too, just like it did in the US and UK.
